Economy
Value
Initial purchase deal was very good. Zero % finance.
Costs
Servicing costs are a bit steep. The car is just over 30 months old and it is starting to fall apart. Last service was £750! Brake pads, discs, tyres, wipers plus normal service charges.

On the road
Driving
Comfortable, quiet, quite nippy. Handles well on snow!
Performance
Very good for a car of this type. Fuel economy is excellent, average 45mpg. Can't get it below 40mpg and can achieve almost 60mpg with care.

Living with it
Reliability
Only broken down once. 19 days off the road for a heater hose! But it has had four warranty claims. The heater hose, suspension link x2, fuel injection air flow sensor and I am trying to claim for the warped discs and another suspension link.
Image
Used to be quite rare around here, so was eccentric and wacky. Now it is quite common and a bit ugly, especially from the side.
Comfort
Ok. Seats a bit narrow. Heater takes an age to warm car in winter.

Security and Service
Security
Never been tested to my knowledge.
Service
Dealer service is very poor. They don't want to know about problems. I used to own a Nissan and the difference in service beggars belief.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Heater hose burst, 19 days to repair. Injection sensor packed up, garage couldn't find any fault at first despite the fact that the engine wouldn't pull past 2800rpm.
Other
Suspension has developed a knock at regular 6 month intervals. In summary a brilliant piece of design let down by poor build quality and Very poor dealer service. If anyone other than Fiat made this car I might buy another one. Sorry Fiat, must try harder
