Summary
What does this car say about you?
It's quirky and a bit different. I liked it a lot.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
really liked it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
no, because my needs have changed and eventually the lack of power made the daily commute down dual-carriageways seem a bit hard work. But for what it is, it's a superb car.
What are you likely to buy next?
bought a Skoda Fabia. Wished I hadn't, always regretted selling the Panda.

Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£3,995
When did you buy the car?
January 2010
Did you get a good deal and why?
I thought so - 9,000 miles on the clock and FSH it looked like a great deal
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
always liked the look of the Panda
What was the dealer like?
very good. Not too pushy, practical, helpful and really listened.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Lovely. Handled like a go-kart - responsive, nippy and you felt really involved. Handling was predictable but sharp and fun, and the body-roll never felt too bad despite prior warnings. The one and only issue was that it was virtually uncontrollable with crosswinds on a motorway. 1.1 engine obviously had its limits, but it was mainly adequete.
What's it like to park?
Ridiculously easy. Tiny, high, good visibility, virtually no overhangs front or back. City steering option actually made it more difficult.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
nothing - it was a joy to own. Felt tightly screwed together, drove well and was generally great to live with.
What's most practical about your car?
so easy to park and very nippy off the mark.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
CD player! My last car didn't have one and the novelty was fantastic for a few weeks before I started eyeing up mp3 compatable stereos.
