Fiat Panda (2004 - 2011) 1.1 Active ECO 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
I am a long term mechanic (motor vehicle technician by trade) I’m now 57 and have worked on many small cars over many years and would say without doubt this is one of the simplest, most well designed and manufactured, reliable (never let us down once) economical and low cost cars to run... recognising it’s all the same chassis and running gear as new fiat 500 (for around 3k less!) it’s a steal. For competent DIY’ers servicing and most maintenance is easily done. Few specialist tools are required and only slightly ‘tricky’ thing is spark plug access and rear brake self adjusting mechanism doesn’t work (none ever do!) all in all a great little car - get one!!
How reliable do you find the car?
Self adjusting rear brakes are typically poor and don’t work but I have met none that do.. only minor flaw with otherwise truly excellent little carDoes the car do everything you expected it to do?
Seating position for driver can be a little awkward if like me your very tall (cars mainly my wife’s anyway so no real drama!)About their car
