Fiat Panda 1.3 Multijet Dynamic 5d (2005/05) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Managed to get the dealer down close to internet broker equivalent price without much haggling.
Costs
Very economical, and at 1000 miles am averaging 65mpg with combined city and motorway commutes.

On the road
Driving
Lively on the turns and holds the road well even if the ride has more of a lean-to feel compared to a ford ka at roundabouts. Just needs a bit of nerve and you see that you still have the grip.
Performance
My first diesel car, so the different feel took some getting used to, but the engine delivers valuable extra boost in 2nd & 3rd gears, and the extra torque is especially welcome on the inclines. I wouldn't go back to a petrol super mini after this.

Living with it
Reliability
No problems so far.
Image
Cute, combined with practical sturdy appearance.
Comfort
Seats nice and firm yet comfortable, even for long journeys. Upright driving position especially good in built up traffic around town. Engine is surprisingly very quiet, too.

Security and Service
Security
No problems so far. Car looks cute so perhaps a little too girly for most.
