Summary
What does this car say about you?
I chose my first car very wisely.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They all like it. It's become a pretty well known car throughout college, and my friends seem to enjoy regular trips to McDonalds every lunchtime.
Would you buy this car again and why?
If I needed another city runabout, I would probably go for the newer Panda.
What are you likely to buy next?
Something a bit bigger maybe (e.g. Nissan Juke or similar).

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£1,800
When did you buy the car?
March 2014
Did you get a good deal and why?
I did indeed, car was serviced before I bought it and reduced in price by about £200.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Bought it for my first car. Considered getting an Aygo/C1/107 at first but the Panda is so much better built and much more comfortable.
What was the dealer like?
Excellent, was in and out of there within 10 minutes.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Incredibly easy. Clutch action is just right, gear lever is nice and high with a sporty-feeling shift, and because it's so narrow it can be squeezed through the tightest of gaps. It can also really shift when you need it to (0-60 a good second or two quicker than Fiat claims).
What's it like to park?
Really easy to park as well. Because it's quite tall, I can see over a lot of stuff, and the large glass area gives a very good view out, which means I can just one-shot it backwards into a space without a worry in the world.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The battery failed eventually (although to be fair, it did have the original battery for 9 years so no surprises there). Otherwise the car has been fine, recently passed its MOT with no advisories.
What's most practical about your car?
It literally sips fuel. Put it into 5th at 30mph and you'll see at least 100mpg on the handy little trip computer. It's also surprisingly spacious inside for the driver and passengers.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
City steering, gives me a way of entertaining myself when stationary in a tailback. Also something to show off about to friends and family.
