Fiat Punto Hatchback 55 S 3d (1995/M) Owner Review

-
Economy
Value
Cheap car to buy and something different than the usual hatchback, such as a 106, Corsa or a Saxo.
Costs
Economical for fuel, tax and insurance, but fairly expensive parts from the Fiat dealer is a problem.
-
On the road
Driving
A nice car to drive, but lacks a little poke. A good car for driving around town in and the high driving position is ideal.
Performance
Lacks top-end speed with only 55bhp as standard.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Electrics are the only major problems.
Image
The car looks a bit like a shopping trolley. Nothing wrong with the image of the car, but sayings for Fiat such as 'Fix It Again Tomorrow' or 'Found In A Tip' can't be good.
Comfort
Very comfortable car to drive and leg room for passengers.
-
Security and Service
Security
Fiat standard immobiliser is sufficient.
