Economy
Value
A lot of car for the money. Great extras including the heated electric mirrors, ABS and height adjustable seat and steering wheel. Plus like we all say for the money, some awesome performance!
Costs
As soon as your foot touches that accelerator pedal watch your fuel gauge. And if you have a lead foot your doomed.

On the road
Driving
Very nippy, but unpredictable through town with turbo lag causing the car to be a sudden rocket once spooled up. Good fun out on dual carriageways, very fast!
Performance
1.4i Turbo engine with 136bhp with a 0-60 time of 7.8 secs. You tell me if that's impressive performance. Puts a smile on my face every time!

Living with it
Reliability
Hasn't been off the road for any problems as of yet. Radiator was leaking but Radweld sorted that for now. Oil leak and CV joint went. Also oil light flashes on and off on dash but overall starts up first time every time!
Image
To look at a very smart looking sporty Fiat. Not a lot of people realise the car is turbocharged and therefore leaving most off the lights and up to around 80mph. A cult status is definitely coming together with this car now. Rare and fun!
Comfort
Fairly comfy on the later models (98 on) although 3 models were produced with different interiors. Feels comfy driving around and about and have done some long miles in it with no problems at all.

Security and Service
Security
Very good Fiat Standard alarm immobiliser system lowering insurance for some drivers as it's category 2 rated.
Service
Very poor, Fiat are no good when discussing these cars or for parts. I personally use a mechanic colleague of mine now and keep away from Fiats fat pockets!
