Economy
Value
Fair price to buy used (3 years ago for £5.7k with 24k miles on clock).
Costs
Can get 40mpg quite easily. More on gentle run.

Driving
Really easy to drive. All controls light and firm suspension gives decent handling/ride. Seats lack support, though.
Performance
Nippy little car. Great for 1.2, but engine becomes loud at higher revs.

Living with it
Reliability
Regular servicing is a must, but a nice reliable car.
Image
Youthful trendy cheap car that has avoided Saxo image and isn't too girly like some superminis.
Comfort
Seats lack lateral support. Ride firm, but not excessively - no floatyness like lesser Punto.
-
Security and Service
Security
Standard immobiliser, but no standard alarm or deadlocks.
Service
Fiat dealers are rubbish. Avoid them. No point getting them to service a car of this age, anyway.

Problems and Ownership

Rear damper bushes and trailing arms can wear creating clonking at rear. Front dampers suddenly sprung a leak.
