Overview
The original Punto was a good all-rounder, equally at home in town or on the open road. Passenger and load space are more generous than most superminis of its age, with five-door cars quite suitable for the smaller family. It also possesses distinctive styling to add to its desirability making cost effective motoring accessible to just about anyone who wants it.
Most units are very economical too. It’s best known as a three or five-door hatchback, but there’s also a nifty-looking cabriolet.
