Economy
Value
Pretty good value for money for a base model, but you do have to wind up your own windows!
Costs
Not bad for its class.

On the road
Driving
Fantastic fun on windy roads. Not too bad on the motorway (for an 8v).
Performance
Typically geared Fiat - brisk from a standing start, better in the mid-range.

Living with it
Reliability
Been very reliable (14,000 miles in 12 months). A little hesitant on cold mornings, but this has been rectified by the dealer.
Image
Hey Jeremy Clarkson has it on his cool board! That's something that the Beetle and the Audi TT can't say!
Comfort
Good seating position. Lots of adjustment on the driver's seat. The squab of the seat could do with being a bit longer so that I could have more support under my legs. People under 6ft should be ok.

Security and Service
Security
No alarm, but does have Fiat key immobiliser. Also has one of the highest scores in the NCAP test for its class.
Service
Very friendly and helpful. My dealer doesn't do loan cars though, which is a bit of a pain.
