Fiat Punto Hatchback (2003 - 2006) 1.2 Active 3d Owner Review

In their own words
I find the punto to be a very viable choice for the used car buyer. With insurance and running costs low on the small engines, as well as a lower purchase price than say a ford fiesta or vauxhall corsa. I found the car to be very reliable mechanically; only lacking slightly in refinement, and also has a suprising amount of interior space compared to other hatchbacks in this range. It drives very well and can be quite fun to up to speeds of around 40-50 especially with the light steering. The acceleration suffers a bit top end in the 1.2 versions however it will sit happily on the motorway at speeds of 70-80. Overall I believe the punto is a great first car or cheap run around when buying 2nd hand and will certainly not disappoint the buyer in any way.
