Summary
What does this car say about you?
I know a bargain when I see one!!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
When we bought the Punto many people treated the car as a joke. Now, after almost 5 years of trouble free motoring, they see the wee car is far from a joke.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would have no hesitation in buying another one of these wee cars. Been a reliable wee servant and even survived a learner driver!!
What are you likely to buy next?
No idea yet because as long as the Punto keeps going, why replace it.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£3,500
When did you buy the car?
July 2007
Did you get a good deal and why?
Although it was a spur of the moment decision to buy the car (hubby spotted it on his way home from work and it was bought within a few hours of him passing it), we were delighted with the price we paid.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Bought the car when my son was learning to drive, mainly because it was a low insurance group.
What was the dealer like?
The sales team we dealt with were fantastic. Absolutely no pressure to buy and also pointed out a few other cars of similar spec and price. Made us feel as if we were the most important customers they'd ever dealt with.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's great around town but will sit happily on a motorway at 70mph. On country roads it behaves well as long as you don't drive like Jenson Button.
What's it like to park?
Easy.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Other than wear and tear items, the Punto has needed very little work to keep her going.
What's most practical about your car?
It's economical - good MPG, cheap insurance and road tax. The cabin space is fantastic for a small car and there's still boot space.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
City button - lightens the power steering making the car unbelievably easy to squash in and out of tight spaces.
