Value
For £6k brand new, this car is worth it. Discontinued now though, but you can pick one up for around £2.5k now! Alloy wheels, driver airbag, electric windows, sunroof, powersteering and fog lights all standard. Quality!
Costs
Cheap to drive, done over 250 miles to a full tank. Insurance group 3, excellent for first car.

Driving
Great fun! Almost wont be beaten off the line. Car will go where you point it, though understeer is common. The 'City' button found on most Fiats is standard in the sporting, which is a great help in the city. Gear box is smooth, can't fault it.
Performance
Cant argue with it.

Reliability
Clutch cable went, common in these cars cuz Fiat got lazy when moving from left to right-hand drive, but it did last 30k miles! Sunroof leaks when the car is stationary for ages when it buckets
Image
Top. The '01 model is much better than the '98 one! This car is not a girls car, yellow does this car justice! Abarth model is most desirable.
Comfort
Excellent. The seats hug you but dont smother the front riders. As for the passengers in the rear, don't expect a car this big to have space.

Security and Service
Security
Been tested and is solid. Even though there is just an immobiliser and central locking, someone tried the ol' coat hanger trick down the side of the glass, the window seal stopped them, idiots.
Service
Tried using Fiat, but as you'll read in just about any Fiat review, they are useless. Parts from them are overpriced, go to an independant mechanic, they're not bad at all.

Engine
The clutch cable, but otherwise perfect
Other
