Economy
Value
Seemed a good buy at time compared to Astra & Focus but has lost a fortune when I recently enquired about part-ex.
Costs
Servicing expensive at Fiat dealers, tyres std size so cheap, economical on petrol
-
On the road
Driving
Very nice drive, handles superbly around corners.
Performance
Very nippy, average 37mpg (town/ motorway every day), can't praise cornering enough
-
Living with it
Reliability
Not a single problem with engine, but passenger door keeps failing (unable to open - not good on 3 door with pregnant wife).
Image
Mine is black with alloys and personally I think it looks fantastic. When I first bought it people were always looking at it on road
Comfort
Very comfortable, even on long journeys, lack of Aircon lets it down, having to look for a bigger car now I have 2 kids, was fine for 1

Security and Service
Security
No alarm but deadlocking, immobiliser and red flashing led.
Service
Had a lot of teething problems, but Sunwin Fiat Bradford worked on it time & time again, eventually giving me a free service for my troubles

Problems and Ownership
Problems

Other
Very very happy, will be a shame to change it (5 door not an option as it looks awful!). Biggest criticism would be that you are unable to replace faulty headlight bulbs without removing bumper!
