Summary
What does this car say about you?
Cheap, just wanting to be able to get from A to B.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
All my family dislike the car for the obvious reasons. Some friends like the smoothness of it but others don't like it due to the beeping and thinking/knowing they're putting their lives at risk.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Never again because a lot of Stilo owners experience the faulty airbag issue and it seems it can't be fixed.
What are you likely to buy next?
My first car was a Peugeot 207, I would go back to the exact same model but a newer year.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£980
When did you buy the car?
February 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
At the time we thought it was a good deal due to it being the lowest insurance quote we could find.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Car was brought for my brother as he had just passed his driving test.
What was the dealer like?
The dealer wasn't professional - all he had in mind was selling the car.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
After all the beeps from the faults and with the new clutch, it is a really smooth drive. The engine is quiet and in a good and bad way, it's hard to feel the bite.
What's it like to park?
The little mirrors make it awkward to park but it's not too bad and I like the gear stick having the "lift lever".

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
It broke down the day after. After numerous phone calls to the dealer, we ended up having to pay for a tow company to send it back to them. Trading Standards were contacted and we followed their procedure, sent it to a garage to see if the dealer had fixed it. Ended up paying another £1,100. 7 weeks later the cluth went, another £300. Currently still working alongside TS to resolve the issue. We were told about the airbag fault when we bought it but not the loose connections, engine fault, rear suspension gone, the battery being drained and needing to be jump started every day no matter how long I drive the day before and a number of codes popping up. Wish I had more car knowledge and money to have bought a car from a decent dealer.
What's most practical about your car?
It gives my drive a use!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
My only favourite part of the car is the hidden CD player under the top dashboad, never knew it was there until I Googled it
