What does this car say about you?
that you couldn't find a 3 door (as they look so much better) before your hand was forced!, and that secretlly you wanted the Abarth but were too tight. you'll wish you held out every time you see the sexy(er) version
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
think it looks good, goes alright when you put your foot down.
Would you buy this car again and why?
no as i want a more "fun drive" bigger engine
What are you likely to buy next?
Alfa gt 1.9 jtd, or the 159 2.4jtd (if i cant find a good one for the money)

looked at the specs and it was a lot of car for the money compared to what else was available on the market at £3K ish.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
understeers like you wouldn't believe, changing from a golf its a bit of a shock. put it down to the budget tyres, changed them to avon zv3's and made a big improvement, BUT go into a roundabout too fast with the power down and the front wheels just jump to the outside till you let off power, in the wet slides even more :( if you want a true drivers car look else where, also the body roll is an issue but its a familly run around so what do expect...
What's it like to park?
great turning circle. fits into almost any space. very easy to park with the square back end.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
electrics- air bag failure (problem with cabling under drivers seat), power steering failure (once until i turned off the ignition and restarted not reoccured since), central locking issues, keeps opening the locks while in motion. preheat fault, but done 65K. mechanically sound.

5 doors

6 cd multi changer (air con if it was fitted!!)
