Economy
Value
It has all the toys but that just creates more problems!
Costs
Very expensive to run, I average 20mpg.
-
On the road
Driving
Ok in a straight line, bit hairy in corners.
Performance
For a 2.4 20v it isn't adequate, it should have had the turbo!
-
Living with it
Reliability
DON'T TOUCH IT! The ECU packed up, the climate control has had 4 faults!, the list goes on and on but Fiat were happy to give me the full details and cost of the repairs which up to now is around £5000.
Image
It should have been the 2.0 20v Turbo Coupe which got the Abarth badge, this just is not worthy of such a pedigree.
Comfort
Mine has the leather seats and you roll about from side to side in them, and the selespeed gearbox in auto makes your passengers heads jerk a lot.

Security and Service
Security
'It hasn't been pinched yet' (pity).
Service
Fiat parts always seem to go on back order and when they do 'which is inevitable with this car' they are on back order for 1-3mths, I have never met a more incompetent company structure than Fiat's, their only saving grace is the staff at Sunderland Reg V.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
The CRANK shaft went after only 9000 miles and the area manager only replaced it with a new cam shaft rather than engine, so 3mths waiting for a new cam shaft to be fitted and then they blamed me for not putting oil in when it had only just been serviced?
Other
My CAM shaft went after only 9k they would not replace the engine so I spent 3mths waiting for a new crank shaft to be fitted and then blamed me for not putting oil in it when it had only just been serviced the wk before?? They wont replace the car though
Ownership
Did you buy the car new?
New
Would you buy the same model again?

Did you buy from the same manufacturer again?
No
