Summary
What does this car say about you?
Probably nothing too exciting, a reliable practical vehicle for a sensible person on a budget.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Most like it due to its practicality, but the more snobbish do turn their noses up at it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, as very economical and never broken down once in four years, but as they stopped making them in 2007 not many newer ones to replace this one with compared with other makes.
What are you likely to buy next?
One that suits my needs, around similar size to this.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£3,500
When did you buy the car?
June 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes paid £3500 with only 25,000miles on clock and FSH, car was immaculate condition.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Went to look at an A4 Avant but dealer suggested Stilo due to more space for my needs, as required decent boot space for dogs. Never even thought of owning a Fiat previously.
What was the dealer like?
Good honest bloke, recommended this car over another he was seliing even though this car was £4000 less, as he thought it suited my needs more.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Good, very responsive engine took me by surprise to be honest. Suspension is a bit knocky over speed bumps but overall comfort is good, driven 400miles journeys with no stiffness.
What's it like to park?
Only down side is the rear bumper does stick out more than it first appears in wing mirrors, but once used to that its good, the "city" button really helps in car parks as makes the steering very light.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Replaced battery after 18months, other than that normal wear and tear, few tyres, brake discs & pads etc.
What's most practical about your car?
Huge boot space, plenty of room inside for driver and passengers and even round town gets over 40mpg.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Climate control.
