Fiat Ulysse 2.0 S 5d (1996/P) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Lot of car for the money.
Costs
Shop around for spares as Fiat are expensive. Have found local Peugeot dealer very very helpful and almost half the cost of Fiat dealership.
-
On the road
Driving
Seat does not adjust sufficiently for taller drivers.
Performance
Don't expect too much. Engine is underpowered in this version. Will cruise all day on a motorway, but will struggle on a hill when fully loaded. Good distance range on a full tank when not in or around town.

Living with it
Reliability
Very, very good. Had mine for 2 years starts 1st time every time.
Image
Image isn't everything. Leave that to Renault, but for practicality for a family of 5 plus Grandparents or friends an excellent vehicle.
Comfort
Comfortable seats. Good layout for a young family. Children sleep well on journeys. Adults not too cramped in very rear seats.

Security and Service
Security
Good immobiliser system.
Service
Local dealership not as helpful as local Peugeot dealer when trying to gain advice or spares (see above comments). Fiat themselves do not keep a record of radio codes for their vehicles having contacted the main dealership from where it originally came.
