Economy
Value
Great value for the money: although the top spec isn't cheap, it can hold its own with more prestigious makes. Lovely leather seats, good quality inner materials, Sat Nav that 'works' Prestigio model really is loaded.
Costs
Replacement parts can take a while to arrive, even to main Fiat dealers we needed a new exterior door panel (hubby had a gate jump out at him when the car was 2 weeks old) and it took 7 weeks to arrive. Petrol consumption seems higher than book figure.

On the road
Driving
Better than you'd expect from an MPV - fun on the open road, tiny turning circle (smaller than a Merc A-Class), good handling.
Performance
Quiet gearbox, not as zippy as I'd like, but it's an MPV drives like a car rather than a van (which some MPVs do)

Living with it
Reliability
So far so good a few minor niggles after delivery - CD Changer needed replacing, computer needed tweaking. Have only had it a few months, but seems solidly reliable.
Image
Well I think it looks good - I've been a German car frau up until now (Audi, VW, Merc) so was a little nervous about going Italian, but it's a smartly designed car with discreet badging. Who cares if some pundit thinks Fiats aren't cool: I love my car!
Comfort
Exceptionally comfortable i spend a lot of time in the car w/ small children and this is a home on wheels. We also drive to southern France several times a year and this car is a dream for holidays - storage, comfort, good stereo, satnav... lovely!

Security and Service
Security
Seems fine alarm and window etching as standard on our model, but it didn't come w/ immobiliser or tracker.
Service
Dealer lovely, but get the impression that they're not entirely on the ball many oversights, mistakes all rectified, but had to be pointed out and shouldn't have happened in first place. Long wait for parts from Italy 7 weeks!

Problems and Ownership
Problems

Other
Some strange features - the windows all roll down if you double-click the electric key they also opened themselves when the car was parked outside the house in a snowstorm! We've had the "feature" disabled as it seems to pose quite a security risk.
