Fiat Uno 1.1 ie S 3d (1993/L) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Paid £120 for the Uno with 5 months MOT, and a massive 10 months tax, bargain.
Costs
Very easy to maintain, cheap to insure, and 45 MPG.

Driving
Good fun to drive, but best with 155/70/13 tyres, rather than the skinnier tyres.
Performance
Very nippy for a 1.1 engine, better than my mates 1.3 Fiesta.

Living with it
Reliability
The 1.1 FIRE engine is the one to go for, as these engine are good for 250,000 miles if you change the oil regularly.
Image
You don't buy one of these cars for image, though being a small Italian car helps.
Comfort
Average ride, but nice gadgets, like electric windows, central locking, and a sunroof.

Security and Service
Security
Not the best, but aftermarket alarm seems to have kept it safe.
Service
Very fairly priced main dealer, who even gives you free tea and biscuits while you wait.
