Fiat Uno 60 D Start 3d (2001/X) Owner Review

Economy
Costs
Cheap to buy, cheap to run, cheap to maintain. Cheap.

On the road
Driving
Just pottering about is fine and the suspension is so bouncy you miss all the bumps and lumps on our poorly maintained roads.
Performance
I've given it a damned good hoofing, but it's nothing to write home about. If I'm in a hurry, I can get there nice and early, just loudly!

Living with it
Reliability
Apart from my alternator going (a common fault on these I'm told) it starts quickly every time and drives no bother.
Image
It's hardly eye candy, but I know a few people with them because it's a nice cheap first car that is damned reliable.
Comfort
I actually quite like the seats, though the things around you to comfort you are minimal. That is, they aren't there.

Security and Service
Security
It all looks a bit flimsy on that front.
Service
I took it in for wheel alignment and they were delightful.
