Summary
What does this car say about you?
Family car.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, it is best in class. I would however advise trying the Ecoboost petrol engines. The 1.6 diesel is a bit slow and so far has not delivered anywhere near promised economy (44mpg so far over first 1,500 miles). Maybe this will improve as it wears in.
What are you likely to buy next?
Will keep C-MAX for 5 years unless we need more space. Would look at S-MAX or new Mondeo when it arrives.

£17,900
When did you buy the car?
March 2013

Discount for taking Ford Finance. Extended warranty, servicing and breakdown included.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Required an MPV for ease of access for my 2 year old daughter.
What was the dealer like?
Average. Paperwork took an age.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very plush ride and nice handling. Sluggish in 1st and 2nd. Need to select the right gear as the power band is very small.
What's it like to park?
Easy - this is a compact car for an MPV. Reversing camera helps.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
DAB radio wasn't working on delivery. Required two trips to dealer to rectify.
What's most practical about your car?
Comfort seats (£200 cost option on all but Titanium X). Very handy to swap some boot space for extra legroom.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Sat nav - miles better than that fitted to my 2006 Civic. Automatically zooms out as speed increases and includes directions dislapyed next to speedo as well as main screen. Worth the money.
