The good: Driving dynamics, particularly steering is excellent. Engine torque good, auto gearbox really superb. Good range of features with nice practical touches, clearly designed with every day use in mind. The bad: Completely unacceptable quality and heinously overpriced parts. I bought the car used so perhaps the dud drive shafts can be attributed to abuse but why does a car with only 65k on the clock even need drive shafts? Ford were hopeless, couldn't diagnose the problem. Spare key price left me breathless at £250 - an absolute outrage. Then there was the mystery water leak in the boot, the failed air intake hose that Ford failed to spot and finally the failure of the instrument panel. Of course, the car won't start without this component (obviously?) and Ford wants £1000 to fix a problem that they created with their shoddy manufacturing. I'm done with Ford after this experience, unreliable cars ought to be a thing of the past.
