Bought a silver one before in 2000 which gave me 7yrs trouble free motoring and missed it after it was written off. So when this one came up with one owner low mileage and FSH in gleaming blue I snapped it up at £1500. For a twenty year old car it needed a service etc and two lower suspension links and it drives as good as ever. I replaced the heater matrix which had become clogged. I still think it is eye catching and turns heads where it goes. Insurance is good through Adrian Flux as it is now an agreed value classic. Regular servicing is the key to any cars longevity, but I believe this underestimated (thanks to silly Top Gear reviews back in the day) American built Duratec model is tougher than most. After owning Jaguar and BMW this one is for keeps and am now in the process of restoring this one so she'll be good for the next twenty years!
