Economy
Value
Absolutely unbeatable. Period.
Costs
My V6 returns better fuel economy that Mazda's published figures for the tiny MX-5 1.8S (31.2mpg average for commuting).

On the road
Driving
A confident driver can do wonders with this car. City dwellers may struggle with it's inertia and momentum on the move.
Performance
170bhp, flat torque curve over 1500rpm. 0-60 in 8.0 seconds. 140mph top speed. Figures don't sound much, but the torque delivery blows Japanese top end power off the road.

Living with it
Reliability
Clutch replaced.
Image
Not interested. I feel good in it. Anyone who buys a car as a fashion accessory is weak and easily lead.
Comfort
Very subjective. I'm 5'11"" and weigh 11 stone. I'm very comfortable in it. Even in the back.

Security and Service
Security
Not been stolen yet.
Service
Do all my own serivicing. Owner's club hosts a wealth of knowledge for getting parts cheaper.
