Summary
What does this car say about you?
Escorts have earned the reputation of "boy racer" cars, thanks to the sportier RS & Cosworth models and also due to the hundreds of cheap modifications that can be done to them. However, if you drive a standard model, such as the finesse, and don't stick big exhausts and wheel on it, your not going to raise too many eyebrows driving around town.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They think it's ok, not spectacular, but they have no reasons to slate it either.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes I would buy another escort, but I think it would be one of the higher spec models.
What are you likely to buy next?
Would love a Focus ST170, but thats a while off yet! Will have to wait for insurance to come down a bit.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Reasonable, it's no sports car, but handling is sound. Cornering is decent, but back end can step out if you push too hard. Engine is pretty good for 1.6 and pushes you up to 60 pretty easily. Motorway cruising is fairly quiet and returns a reasonable MPG. On average car will give 300 miles on a full tank (40l approx)
What's it like to park?
Easy
