Ford Fiesta 1.1 Bonus 3d (1992/K) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Very cheap to buy. Hundreds out there. Like any cars, watch out for abused ones.
Costs
Minimal parts costs. Basic mechanics, so zero labour costs, if you're willing to get your hands dirty.
-
On the road
Driving
Okay for a 1.1, have to hold on round corners.
Performance
Nippy round town. Awful on the motorway.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Old. So, other than oil / filter changes, only fix things that go wrong. So far, just tires and exhaust... Touch wood.
Image
No head turner. Then again, didn't buy it for that reason.
Comfort
Not ideal for high-mileage. Comfortable enough, though.
-
Security and Service
Security
None. These are prime targets for beginner joy riders, too. Not worth fitting a fancy alarm. Steering lock is enough of a deterrant.
Service
Not worth going to a dealer.
