Ford Fiesta 1.1 LX 5d (1994/L) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Cheap, good for a 1st car.
Costs
Smaller engines are fairly economical, but as they get older they get worse.
-
On the road
Driving
Noisy ride.
Performance
Again, the size of the engine doesn't allow much but not too bad for an old car.
-
Living with it
Reliability
The engines start to 'go' at around 70,000 miles.
Image
Not the best car to be seen in, but again not the worst.
Comfort
Small, but comfortable for two. Can be cramped in back.
-
Security and Service
Security
No extra features. Can easilly be broken in to.

Engine
I was told that it just 'goes' at 70,000 with no explantion, just a hefty £700 bill to fix it.
