Good value examples can be found.
Costs
Low cost for maitenance and parts are readily available and cheap, even from dealers.

On the road
Driving
Pleasant to drive, although lacks refinement of newer cars. A bit choppy and lacks feedback through steering wheel on cornering hard.
Performance
Reasonable performance and with good servicing it gives it a boost.

Living with it
Reliability
Good if well serviced. Common problem is occassional non-starting in morning due to flooding. If on the odd occassion with the odd vehicle you encounter this, pull 4th fuse from right in fuse box (fuel pump). Try and start engine and when it fires.
Image
Out dated and bland looks now but was good in it's day.
Comfort
Fairly comfortable although lack of space in rear. Steering column is not adjustable. Watch out for soft seats.
-
Security and Service
Security
Later models are better with security improved by use of Ignition isolator. Early models are targets for joy riders.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Watch out for noisy tappets, sludge due to lack of oil changes and corroded sump.
Other
