Economy
Value
The more you pay for this model the better condition it would be in, and less problems?
Costs
I have had two of these now, these can leave a big whole in your pocket if you buy a bad one, but if your want to improve performance you don't have to break the bank to much ( eBay's the word).

On the road
Driving
Very fun car to drive, would recommend this little hot hatch.
Performance
Fun at standard 130bhp, but lethal and fun when 200bhp+

Living with it
Reliability
Depends how you drive, and the condition of the vehicle when you bought it, go for one with lots of history and receipts of work, most will have a rebuilt engine at their age now.
Image
IMO one of the best and original looking hot hatches.
Comfort
Your not buying this car to drive round the world, but the seats are comfortable!!!

Security and Service
Security
Buying one now, there should be a thatcham cat 1 alarm on it, otherwise a lot of insurance companies won't insure you without one.
Service
Parts are pretty easy to get from ford, just may have to wait a couple of days, always get Ford parts!! they last longer.
