What does this car say about you?
It says that I'm a young boy-racer driver but have got a better engine than the average 1.1's out there with bodykits looking ridiculas when I leave em standing on the line.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Good looking cheapy, not to secure (they brought me a steering lock! haha)
Would you buy this car again and why?
I wouldn't buy this car again, it's gave me to many problems and didn't perform no where near what I thought it would speed-wise.

Rover 214 Si 3 dr hatch (bubble shape)

Did you get a good deal and why?
I feel that at the time it was ok for the money, it had below average mileage MOT, tax and service history so I couldn't ask for a lot more for £700!
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I brought this car because it looks sporty and was cheap to buy.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Not that quick considering it's a 1.6 Sport 16v twin cam. I expected more and was dissappointed with the acceleration and top speed. Handles ok but nothing to shout about.
What's it like to park?
Very easy to park it with power steering on this model.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
YES, the waterpump split so had to get a new one and with that you should really change the cam belt. The day I got that back the head gasket went (obviously because it got to hot before). So in one week it cost me over £400 quid and now the head gasket has gone AGAIN after just three months from having it done again!! Also the temp guage works when it wants to.
What's most practical about your car?
Can't think of anything really.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
My favourite accessory about the car is the rounded bumpers on the Si. They look 100 times better than the bog standard ones. Looks like a completely different car.
