Economy
Value
Alright, but its defiantly buying Ghia or SI models you get a lot more features and costs little more second hand.
Costs
Zetec engine is very reliable, most of the costs are on fuel. Parts are available very cheap with motor factor parts available.

Driving
Lovely ride for a car of its age, the zetec engine is a vast improvement over the CVH.
Performance
Performs well especially in the first 3 gears and average at 4th and 5th.

Living with it
Reliability
Apart from service's its never needed any work done. It has never broken down in the 2 years 5,000 miles I have owned the car.
Image
I grew up with fiestas in the family so they have grown on me. In my opinion the style of this car is very modern looking for a car of its age.
Comfort
The late Ghia range is very well equipped for it's age although after 50,000 miles the leather on the steering wheel is beginning to wear.
