Ford Fiesta 1.8 D Classic Quartz 5d (1995/M) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
£30 and a little tlc. Glow plugs and service.
Costs
Parts cheap and easy to find. Fuel economy excellent.
-
On the road
Driving
Rolls like a drunk camel, but holds the road with surprising ease.
Performance
Big diesel engine in such a small car means surprising but not fantastic speed and acceleration. Keeps up with motorway traffic easily. Not big enough for my needs.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Ok if serviced.
Image
Diesel Fiesta laughing stock with friends and colleagues!
Comfort
Ok around town but not so good for long trips. Book appointment with chiropractor if travelling more than 100 miles!

Security and Service
Security
Non-existent but who would steal it?
Service
I do my own.
