Ford Fiesta 1.8 D Focus 3d (1993/K) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
'93 model for around £1k.
Costs
Very economical on fuel. Parts and insurance are cheap.
-
On the road
Driving
Easy steering and will comfortably hit 90MPH. Quite noisy on hard acceleration. Nice gearbox on my model.
Performance
Economical, but don't try overtaking a scooter!

Living with it
Reliability
Extremely reliable if serviced annually and looked after.
Image
Not too bad second hand. Better than a Metro.
Comfort
Fairly bumpy ride and seats are uncomfortable on long journeys.
-
Security and Service
Security
Fortunately never had problems, although recommend an alarm/immobiliser (nothing comes as standard). Keycode radio/cassette is original.
Service
Failed to warn us about due cambelt change, with disastrous results.
