What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

The maority of the people ive taken for drives have enjoyed the ride - speed and stereo - and my mother who has taken up driving again loves to drive it too

Would you buy this car again and why?

I'd probably buy the newer version with the improved shape and safety packages - as the interior is improved on these models - but i would deffinatly have a fiesta again!

A new Astra something with more power

Did you get a good deal and why?

Although Parker's valuation pages says I may have spent a little over the reccommended dealers price - the car came with only 70000 miles on the clock, compared to the 80000 the price was based on. And the condition was superb, not a bump on the bodywork - a few small chips but you cant expect perfect from a used car.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

What was the dealer like?

He was fantastic! I told him exactly what I needed and he found the perfect deal for me, the car came fully valeted with a full MOT and oil change - and was delivered too my house.

What's it like to drive?

A dream! For a first car I couldnt have imagined anything better, the engine delivers the power when you need it, and fast, the Zetec engine certainly asserts it's authority amungst other cars - although for an efficient cruise at 30mph - 5th gear is the best gear - dispite being unusual. And the car can cruise at Normal motorway speeds with ease in the outside lane.

What's it like to park?

very easy - being a short small car you can fit easily in any bay - and visiability and drivers height means people can see clearly all around to fit in the space efficiently.

Have you had any problems with the car?

There is nothing wrong with the car at all! The 1.25 16v Zetec S engine starts like a dream, and the engine will pull away quickly and efficiently - the gearbox is fantastic. The car is also very keen and will wheelspin with the slightest amount of gas above what it requires to move off. My only complaint is no boot release from inside the cabin.

What's most practical about your car?

I believe it's the size - for a small car it can still fit 5 people comfortably - with enough room in the boot for everyones gear. leg room is fantastic for passangers as the dash is shaped to maxiumise legroom for the front passenger, so they can move comfortably forward.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The Power Steering and electric windows are quite unusual accessories on cars of this age - and i didn't buy it with the original stereo - it came fitted with a JVC system which is fantastic.
