Economy
Value
Bought used so cheap, prices rick bottom now.
Costs
Petrol hungry at high revs, but on the whole excellent - reliability not great though.

On the road
Driving
Great fun - best handling car I've ever driven, gives an impression of stability like no other small car.
Performance
1.25? Feels much faster. Can show up several cars with bigger engines.

Living with it
Reliability
This is our second Fiesta - both cars have suffered from an electrical bug which causes stalling at low revs, generally approaching junctions. First car only had that problem, this car has been a money trap from day 1.
Image
Quite sporty - newer model with wedge lights better than the ovals.
Comfort
Seats leave a bit to be desired, but the ride is ice rink smooth. Ample leg & head room and I'm 6'2""

Security and Service
Security
No alarm but immobiliser standard. Nobody has stolen it yet.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
ECU problem at low revs - will be expensive to sort out I am certain.
Other
Heater/ thermostatic control panel went, brake cylinders burst, rear wiper motor replaced (along with all fuses). First car had virtually no problems, second has had them all! That's mass production for you!
