Ford Fiesta 1.4 Si 5d (1996/P) Owner Review

Economy
Value
It's boring and reliable, and aside from a few niggles exactly what you'd expect.
Costs
1.25 would be better economy in gridlock; drinks fuel over 100mph.
-
On the road
Driving
Very dull and predictable, but what did you expect?
Performance
V nippy round town, but if you cane it on the motorway, consider something larger.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Screen wash bottle is in the front wing; once it freezes, is too far from engine to defrost at speed.
Image
But who cares, it's quite cheap and very practical.
Comfort
No auto-reverse on stereo. Radio tries to be RDS but is easily confused - very stupid. Cool trim & sports seats.

Security and Service
Security
Alarm can be expensive to repair. Like another reviewer, my remote c/l only works close to the window (up to ~3 feet).
Service
Have not had any contact.
