Economy
Value
Bought the car new from a car supermarket rather than main dealer. Paid £7500 rather than £10500. Poor value at £10500 but good value at £7500!
Costs
Reasonable fuel economy - 35 to 40 mpg. Would have expected better from a small car though!
-
On the road
Driving
Brilliant drive and handling, especially on a twisty open road. Gearbox is a bit whiney though!
Performance
50 to 70 mph acceleration could be better, but a quiet motorway cruiser, albeit top end acceleration could be better.

Living with it
Reliability
No problems so far. My first impressions of the Ford dealers aren't great. Nothing like walking into a Toyota or Rover garage!
Image
A Fiesta isn't anything to lust after, but isn't an ugly car.
Comfort
Comfortable up front, but isn't the most space efficient car.

Security and Service
Security
Remote central locking and security is good.
Service
Haven't used them that much but my first impressions aren't great! The staff seem to have an attitude of go elsewhere if you don't like it!
