On the road
Driving
Nippy and responsive, pleasure to drive around town, but a struggle on a motorway/long journey.
Performance
8-valve 1.3 engine is very slow, takes ages to acceleate to 60, 2 times longer to accelerate from 60 to 70!!

Living with it
Reliability
Has problems with gearbox, starter motor (not engaging) and electrics.
Image
Better than the previous Fiesta but not as good as Honda Jazz.
Comfort
Not much legroom at the back but ok if you only put two kids there. Seats and steering wheel are NOT height adjustable, not good. Ah, on Finesse models no electrics at all, so it is much like a 20-year old car.

Security and Service
Security
On Finesse models you have no alarm, no central locking, no remote locking. However, built-in immobiliser with codes keys.
Service
Ford dealers like to take money but don't do any work. Had them to fix their own work 3 times.
