Economy
Value
Bought car new, no problems and no worries at all.
Costs
Only cost was brake shoe change at 40000 miles and a water pump gasket at 51000 miles. Fuel comsumpsion as described by ford, but if 'hammered' you can watch the fuel guage drop as with any other car.

On the road
Driving
Slightly cramped for a 6'4" bloke, but i got used to it with the seat on its full rear postion and height adjuster at its lowest car was just about ok.
Performance
You get what you pay for, its not a speed machine. Will go all day at 70mph and is just as happy plodding in town traffic.

Living with it
Reliability
Most reliable car i have ever had.
Image
Its a ford fiesta - not a porche, stay in the real world and don't worry about image if reliablity and a neat run around is what you are after.
Comfort
Rear seat spaced cramped but have had 5 adults in the car on a few occasions - some have been fairly long trips. Centre position in rear seat is really for a small child but average build adult will manage on a short (1 hr) trip.

Security and Service
Security
No problems, no attempts to break in.
Service
Excellent service from the 1st day I walked into the show room to the day I went to change the car to a Focus in March '05.
