That I'll put up with anything to have a fun engine!

Nothing, it's a common red box that I hate but won't get rid of for some reason! It's managed to put everyone off buying Ford though!
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, it has too many basic faults, the dealer wouldn't help and Ford Uk didn't care to help keep a previously loyal customer.

Yes, there was a facelifte model about to be launched.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Special deal from dealer as they needed to shift the pre-facelift cars they had in stock.
What was the dealer like?
Good while doinf g the deal, once I'd bought the car a complete and utter waste of time!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Handling is great, depending on the tyres you have fitted. the original Michelins were scary in the wet, switched to Pirelli's and been fine ever since. The ride quality is awful round town, finds bumps where none exist! The engine loves to be revved hard and doesn't seem to use any more fuel whether you rag it or not!
What's it like to park?
Same as any other small car, just watch the bottom of the bumper on kerbs, seems to just catch most but has a rubber protector.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Where to start! It's had a wierd vibration at the front from new that comes and goes randomly, the interswipe on the wipers seems to ramdomly choose a delay time ( anthing from 2 to 20 seconds ), the gearbox uses oil but has no leaks, the driver's seat handle has broken so you can't get in the back and a front brake disc cracked after 1800 miles.
What's most practical about your car?
Boot opening is large, good visibility all round.

Only has the basics.
