Did you get a good deal and why?
The dealer negotiated and we came to an agreement which included the part exchange of my broken car.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed a new car as previous one had packed up after only 1 year. Good deal on this car.
What was the dealer like?
A little pushy but helpful.

What's it like to drive?
No complaints on motorways or backroads.

Easy to park and to drive.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
I had an issue where I was 60 miles from home and had just gotten into the car, around 200 yards down the road it felt like the clutch had gone. On closer inspection of the clutch pedal I found a cable with a loop in the end and a little sticking out peg on the back of the clutch pedal itself. I pushed this onto the peg and to my relief this cured the problem. I searched online for this problem when I reached home and found another thread that detailed the problem and they said that there should have been a washer with a star shape hole in the middle on the end which stop the cable from slipping off. When I took the car to Ford two of the parts people had no idea what I was talking about but when they asked a senior guy he said he knew about this. They charged me 61p for the washer.
What's most practical about your car?
Other than the minor issue, very reliable and easy to drive. I taught my wife to drive in this car and she passed.
