Would buy a new shape Fiesta as these are even better.

New shape Fiesta, possibly a Suzuki Swift or SEAT Ibiza.

Did you get a good deal and why?
I got £ 1800 for my Nissan Almera, which was good considering it was a discontinued model, but had FSH and all the bills.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed a cheap to run small car to replace my Nissan Almera, which was becoming old.
What was the dealer like?
Very friendly, family dealer that sells Nissans, Ford approved used, Suzukis and Hyundais. It helped that I bought my last car from there.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Good for a 1.25, can cope well on the motorway and quiet up to 70 mph. Doesn't like hills much, though. Light steering and decent handling make it good to drive on twisty roads.
What's it like to park?
Very easy, helped by light steering.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No, has only needed a tyre in 11 months.
What's most practical about your car?
Very easy to park, surprisingly spacious for a three door.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The miles to empty indicator is very useful. Also has a really good stereo.
