Economy
Value
Got a good deal on the age and model I bought, generally best to buy nearly new, plenty of vehicles around.
Costs
So far so good, servicing costs £130, fuel economy seems reasonable so far but not outstanding. Could just be my driving though!

On the road
Driving
At it's best around town and rural roads, handles well and feels stable. But get up to speed on the motorway and it can feel a little unsteady and light.
Performance
Again, at it's best in town. Sometimes lacks a little "oomph" which can be critical on motorways. Suffers if you have four adults onboard. Can eat the last quarter of the fuel tank a bit quickly.

Living with it
Reliability
No problems so far.
Image
Great. Old Focus looks but more angular leading to sharper, modern appearance. I like the interior look, unlike some commercial reviews!
Comfort
Outstanding for the size and class of the vehicle. I am 6' 5"" and the driving position is excellent with good headroom. Height adjustable seat is a distinct advantage, body shape also helps. Longs journeys are not a problem for me in this car.

Security and Service
Security
Double locking and immobiliser as standard.
Service
Have only dealt with the sale, but cannot fault dealer (Evans Halshaw). Friendly, non-pushy and threw in extras without being pressured.
