that i believe what Ford tell me about the reliability of their technology.

they like it
Would you buy this car again and why?
NO....The design is dangerous because if the gear selector fails(they do,i quizzed the Ford mechanic)the car will immediately stop within yards and it could be anywhere.You have to find someone to uplift it to a Ford dealer.
What are you likely to buy next?
i am looking for a car which is safe and has the least complicated technology.Read Car Mechanic magazine to appreciate some of the nightmare faults caused by too much electronics.

Have you had any problems with the car?
this semi-automatic car was promoted on the Ford web site as having a bullet proof system of gear changing.it lasted 15000miles before the gear selector actuator failed in a very dangerous manner.the car simply stopped on a roundabout and had to be uplifted(you cannot push it)The bill was 600 pounds!
What's most practical about your car?
it is perfectly practical in all areas.
