Economy
Value
Bought second hand for around £5,000, absolute bargain.
Costs
I have had 50mpg out of the tank, but I now spend most of my time in heavy traffic and get mid 30s. I have not had to spend any other money on the car at all!

On the road
Driving
In comparison to most superminis its well composed, handles well, is comfortable and has good visibility.
Performance
Baring in mind its only a 1.4 it goes well and has all its torque very low down. Very nippy and handles well too.

Living with it
Reliability
Its been great so far, don't get put off by badge snobbery. I had a small leak in my boot, which was promptly fixed under warranty. The head unit would make clicking noises when turning on an when playing a CD, again promptly fixed.
Image
Its a modern looking super mini, the Zetec spec adds a little sportiness. Its a little plain, but then is that a bad thing?
Comfort
The seats are comfy, but lack a little support. Doors in the 3door model are very long, its not always fun getting in and out in a tight space.

Security and Service
Security
Immobiliser with central locking. It really should have had remote central locking at least on all models.
Service
Sales people were outstanding, got a great deal, bartered in the deal, bunch of flowers included with the car, helped with looking at all stock available. Beats any VW, Audi or BMW service by far, don't be fooled by the sugar coated cup of coffee!

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Absolute gem, lovely low down torque, nippy for a 1.4 and doesn't need to be revved silly to get anywhere at pace. I have had the car on a rolling road and the figures were, 85.3BHP @ 4277RPM and 120.3NM @ 2479RPM.
Other
Top class car that I would recommend to anyone. The more I get to know the car the more I like it.
