I've no idea - that I'm boring perhaps?! I don't really worry about what people think to be honest.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

I think they laugh, secretly or otherwise!

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, definitely. Great to drive, cheap to run, has lots of nice little touches that make it nice to live with on a daily basis. And it's reliable too.

What are you likely to buy next?

Later Fiesta, Mondeo, maybe Volvo S40 if I decide to afford something bigger.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I bought from a used car dealer, not a franchised dealer, who specialises in Fords. The price was a bit above average but I knew that the standard of the car was worth it. Also, the overall service and after sales service was superb, with any issues found being put right without question.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Cheap to run, I like Fords.

What's it like to drive?

It's really good fun to drive and the engine is smooth. It can be a bit bumpy over back roads but it corners well and holds the road nicely. I also find that the 1.4 is great for me and, save for overtaking, has all the power I need. It is a bit noisy over 50 though so if you speak on the phone a lot in your car or spend a lot of time on the motorway, you may want to consider a bigger car. But as a small car and for what you'd expect from a small car, it's fantastic.

What's it like to park?

Very easy - nice turning circle and good visibility all round.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Yes, part of the heated screen doesn't work but that's the only issue I've had in a year and 22k miles.

What's most practical about your car?

Cost of parts and servicing, fuel economy. I get 46 mpg with a variety of roads.

Heated screen, air-con.
