Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I'm a play it safe type. I wanted a quick car but without compromising the future resale value.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They all like what it looks like, Ink blue with 7 spoke alloys, very nice! but..... they don't drive it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Maybe. It's OK but a little bland.
What are you likely to buy next?
Something with more grunt. The Civic typeS was the alternative and perhaps that is what I should have gone for, more space and MUCH more power.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£7,499
When did you buy the car?
October 2006
Did you get a good deal and why?
Got a basic deal. Paid no more than I should have for the Fiesta but had to stand firm on the trade in price for the Laguna.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Not really. Previous car was a Laguna2 and just wanted a smaller car.
What was the dealer like?
Exactly what I expected. Offered me a derisory amount for my trade in but got there in the end when he thought I was going to walk away.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
OK. With a 1.6 engine in it I would have expected more oomph. It's nippy but not quick. Dunno whether it's typical of the car but the engine does have a rather nice growl to it under acceleration. Sticks to the road fairly well too.
What's it like to park?
Easy.,the sensors are a real boon as rear visibility is not that brilliant.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No. So far trouble free.
What's most practical about your car?
For a small car it's quite roomy. At 6' 2" there's good leg and headroom. Although anyone sitting behind me would be cramped.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The rear parking sensors are very handy.
