What does this car say about you?

I'm a boy racer? It's all show and not enough go though.....

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Everyone likes it, my niece wants to steal it off me.

Would you buy this car again and why?

No, it's a little bit too youthfull for me, get fed up of Saxo drivers and the like trying to race all the time and it's a bit awkward getting Mini-Me into his child seat when I need to take him anywhere.

What are you likely to buy next?

A 5 door with more power, Astra, Focus, Mondeo or Vectra perhaps.

Did you get a good deal and why?

In hindsight, no, prices have dropped and it's worth nearly £3000 less than what I paid 6 months ago

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Cheap transport to get me to work, a 70 mile round trip

What was the dealer like?

Friendly and helpfull

What's it like to drive?

Fun. Not fast (why Ford don't do a higher power diesel I don't know, it can take it, some people can get an extra 30bhp out of them on a rolling road), bit too much wind and road noise on the motorway though.

What's it like to park?

Easy, good visibility all round, though for some reason I've curbed both front wheels, something I've never done on any other car.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Blew a fuse on the power socket....parcel shelf was a poor fit which the dealer sorted under warranty even though trim isn't covered, which was nice

What's most practical about your car?

Heated front screen, 58mpg, (7 days between fill-ups), £35 road tax, cheap insurance, easy to park and takes up little room in the garage.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Air con? 6-disk player with Mp3 input, (shame the speakers aren't quite up to scratch), Bluetooth connection for handsfree phone use, fuel computer.
